LinkUp-Now developed out of heart for others, specifically the less fortunate. These developing efforts are to connect anyone with the opportunity to serve others as quickly as possible. Following Hurricane Katrina, those who wished to respond and serve others found themselves in a hurry up and wait scenario. Concerned individuals were repeatedly given a response of “don’t call us, we’ll call you” every time a connection was made to serve through most larger organizations. The bottom line was that response organizations are not often ready to accomodate many who are ready to serve. Since Katrina, many organizations (boots on the ground) have developed all over this great country and around the world. It is our desire here at LinkUp-Now to help provide people who share a heart of responding to and serving others an opportunity to satisfy his/her heartfelt need to serve others whenever that moment arrises.
